Build around an old villa, has a wonderful count year for outside dinner in the summer, in door pool and full spa for relaxing, and high end Italian kitchen and buzzy bar. Overall new and nice rooms and accommodations, though you can't open closet and drawers at the same time, so a bit tight. The biggest problem we had was with an unpleasant odor in the hall and, in a return visit, in our room, which had to be changed, with only partial improvement. Nice as this hotel, its personnel, and location are, this odor problem is a veto factor for us for any future visit. No idea what the source is, and surprised at its presence at all.
